back after the kruger park trip!!

After spending  a week in one of the most amazing places was nice to be back with the horses.!

the kruger park was such a good experience and i feel very lucky to have seen as many different animals as we did!! seeing the park at sunrise and sunset was so beautiful and the atmosphere was so nice!!

the animals i saw i had a clear view of most of the time and where usually in a group which was nice to see.. i saw lots of elephants, zebra, giraffe, rhinos, leopards, lions, birds,  the different types of buck, buffalo and many other wildlife!! i did get some really nice pictures !  we did do lots of driving where we didnt see anything but when you see a lion it makes up for it !!

I will be off to the kruger park until nxt saturday ! which im so excited about its going to be so amazing and fun !!

the last few days have been really nice with some nice sunny weather, lots of riding different horse each day which is a good experience i feel that im learning so much all the time about everything!!

a few different things cuming up after i get back fro the kruger park! i will going to the pretoria show which will be good and lots of riding !!

tack cleaning in the sun!

The trip ot the stud farm was very kwl and interesting , lots of lovely yearlings!! the place where we stayed was very beautiful bnb quite cold but nice electric blankets !!!

Have been doing soem tack cleaning in the lovely sunshine today, had a little ride this morning , so overall a good day !! the dust is not so great though !

hopefully a trip to the kruger national park will be a few days !! we will goin to the pretoria show at the end of the month, which will be good!!

and at some point i am meant to be getting gifts for my family!! hmmm not sure when thou!:P lots of things to do .. just about enough time to do them in!!

half way !!

It has been a long time since i have last been on here !! i keep forgetting .. not so good!! well lots has happened in the last few weeks .. been on a few trips and outings !! i have been to a few differen tgame farms whihc has been amazing seeing all the wild animals up close and very personal at points !

i have been doing a lot of riding everyday up to 4 different horses !! iam learning so much about riding techniques and how to become a rider instead of a passenger!! we went to a different riding centre to do a funride for ride against crime which was very good fun !!! it started of very cold in the morning and by dinner it was really hot !!

i have been to a few different game farms at friends of chrystines houses!! seeing all the big wild animals like the giraffe and bucks and rihnos is so amazing!! we went to pick up a trailer form lawerences game farm and we meet his pet zebra and helped feed the rihnos on his farm outside his back door… i stroked a rihnos which different !! i have lots of photos from my trips which i will put up soon when i have more time as the weeks fly by so quickly!!

i am going on a over night trip to clarences to see the colt that chrystine has at a stud farm which will be good!!

The equestrian way of life over here is very different to home which took me by surprise i think is the only way to put it !!  i feel i have learned alot about about very thing to do with my riding, how they run the yard and going to shows/ funrides …

first week in south africa

after a long day of travelling to heathrow and then the 10 1/2 hr plane journey !! it has been a good week, we went to a show on the first sunday which luca did very well at!!  the first week has been just getting into a routine doing different things like riding, going with chrystine to teach, helping teresa with different jobs!! it has been a very different type of activity for me, as it is very different way of life as how very thing is done with horse and other activities !! how people drive is also interesting ! i have ridden quite a few of different horse this week which has been good!! there is lots coming up in the next few weeks !!

I have just set up my first blog,  in the final few weeks beofre the start of my trip. I have just been sorting out everything the last few weeks with the help of many different helpful people!!
